Who We Are

NoGlasshole is a privacy-first mobile application designed to blur faces in smart-glasses footage and detect nearby recording devices. We are committed to protecting the privacy of both our users and the people around them.

What We Don't Collect

• ✓No video/photo data leaves your device
• ✓No facial recognition data
• ✓No location tracking
• ✓No contact list access
• ✓No advertising identifiers
• ✓No third-party analytics that track individuals

What We Do Collect

We collect minimal, anonymized data to improve app performance:

• •Crash reports (anonymized, via Apple's crash reporting)
• •App usage analytics (aggregate, non-identifying)
• •Device type and OS version (for compatibility)

None of this data can be traced back to an individual.

On-Device Processing

All face detection and blurring happens entirely on your device using Apple's Core ML framework. Your videos and photos are never uploaded to our servers or any third-party service. The processed files stay in your device's photo library.

Bluetooth & Detection Mode

Detection mode uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to scan for nearby smart-glasses devices. This feature:

• •Only scans for known smart-glasses Bluetooth signatures
• •Does not track or store the location of detected devices
• •Does not identify the wearer of detected glasses
• •Can be disabled at any time

Third-Party Services

We use Apple's built-in frameworks for crash reporting and basic analytics. We do not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect personal data, serve advertisements, or track users across apps.

Data Retention

Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to retain. Anonymized crash reports and analytics are retained for up to 90 days to improve app stability, then automatically deleted.

Your Rights

You have the right to request information about any data we hold. Since we collect no personal data, such requests will confirm that no personal information is stored. You can contact us at privacy@noglasshole.com for any privacy-related inquiries.

Children's Privacy

NoGlasshole is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
